Meat market: U.S. consumers' purchase frequency of lamb 2015 This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in November 2015 asking U.S. consumers how often they buy lamb during an average week. During the survey, some 7 percent of respondents indicated that they had purchased lamb 2 to 3 times a week on average. Compared to the other meat species, lamb was the least consumed meat type.
