This statistic shows the main triggers for switching electricity suppliers in Great Britain in 2015, by age. Of those surveyed, 73 percent of 35-64-year-olds believed the new electricity supplier would be cheaper. This was generally the main trigger among all age groups, followed by believing in better customer service after switching and moving homes.
