This statistic displays a percent distribution of U.S. users of long-term care services by provider type and by ethnicity in 2015 and 2016. In the United States, non-Hipsanic blacks accounted for 12.9 percent of all users of home health agency services. Long-term care services account for a variety of services such as health, personal care, and supportive services dedicated to frail older people and adults with a limited capacity for self-care in cases such as injury or mental disability.
