The statistic shows the leading merger and acquisition (M&A) deals in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in 2019, by transaction value. The largest deal amounted to approximately over five billion euros; this was the price paid for the acquisition of 20 percent stake of Arctic LNG-2 in Russia by the China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) (China). The smallest deal in the top five amounted to 1.8 billion euros by Allianz, Macquarie Group and British Columbia Investment Management to acquire 50.04 percent stake of innology Grid Holding.
