M&A activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina: deal numbers 2011-2022
The total number of merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions in Bosnia and Herzegovina fluctuated within a range of 15 deals between 2011 and 2022. After an increase in M&A activity between 2016 and 2017, number of M&A deals in Bosnia and Herzegovina began to decline over the next three years. Deal volumes went from 28 deals in 2017 to 26 in 2018. There was a further decrease in M&A activity between 2018 and 2019, as well as 2019 and 2020. In 2022, however, 26 deals were completed, a slight increase from the 21 deals of the previous year.
