The annual net interest income of the NatWest group decreased overall from 2012 to 2022. The total net interest income reached the lowest value in 2020 with approximately 7.38 billion British pounds. In 2022, NatWest group' s net interest income stood at 9.84 billion British pounds. The group was called Royal Bank of Scotland until 2020, when it was renamed NatWest after the brand under which the majority of its business was delivered.
