NatWest group: cost income ratio 2022

The annual cost to income ratio of the NatWest group decreased overall between 2012 and 2022, despite some fluctuations. During these years, this ratio peaked in 2016, at 129 percent, decreasing over the following years. In 2022, the cost to income ratio of the Royal Bank of Scotland was 55.5 percent. The NatWest group was named Royal Bank of Scotland group until 2020, when in was renamed after the branch under which the majority of its business was delivered.
