Migration figures of Spanish people in Spain 2010-2019

This statistic shows the migration numbers of Spanish people leaving or returning to Spain from 2010 to 2019. During the period under review, more Spaniards left the country than returned to their homeland, peaking in 2015 at 94.6 thousand Spanish migrants. This trend however initiated a fall by 2016, year in which the amount of Spaniards coming back to their country started to pick up. In 2018, the amount of people originally from Spain that returned to their country outnumbered those who left for other places, with 86.7 thousand returnees.
