The statistic shows the reactions to the possibility in the future of not finding the "best before" dates on non-perishable foods, such as rice, pasta, coffee or tea, in the United Kingdom in 2015. * The question in the interviews was originally phrased as follows: "Currently, manufacturers are not required to indicate dates on food labels for certain non-perishable foods, such as salt, sugar and vinegar. These foods can be consumed safely and their quality does not deteriorate over a long peiod of time. In future, if you no longer found "best before" dates on other non-perishable foods, such as rice, pasta, coffee or tea, how would you respond?"
