This statistic shows the results of a survey on preferred reading methods among women in Finland in 2017, by age group. In 2017, over 70 percent of the respondents in all groups stated that they read only print books. The share amounted to 82 percent among women aged 50 to 75. None of the respondents read solely e-books.
According to a survey, the most popular fiction book genres among women in Finland in 2017 were thriller and romance. Female non-fiction readers, on the other hand, were particularly into hobby and health-related topics as well as biographies.
