
Alcohol per capita consumption in Latin America & the Caribbean 2019
In 2019, Barbados had the highest level of alcohol consumption in Latin America and the Caribbean among its population aged 15 years and older, recording more than 10.4 liters of pure alcohol per capita consumed yearly. That year, Saint Lucia was the second country with the highest per capita alcohol consumption in the region, with an estimated consumption of 9.6 liters of alcohol per person, followed by Argentina and Antigua and Barbuda.
