The most likely reason for switching brands is wanting to try something new, quoted by 46 percent of respondents. Other frequently cited reasons for brand switching are deals on other brands (35 percent), dissatisfaction with one's usual brand (28 percent) and recommendations from friends/acquaintances (27 percent).
