
Digital share of the total revenue of newspaper companies in Norway 2022, by type
In 2022, the digital sale of national newspapers in Norway accounted for 58.8 percent of the total revenues from that newspaper type, up from 53 percent in the previous year. The digital share of the revenue of middle-sized local newspapers in Norway also increased between 2021 and 2022, along with national niche and smallest local papers. By contrast, big and small local newspapers saw the digital shares of their revenue decrease compared to the year before.
