Germany's electricity generation from hydropower 2000-2021
In 2021, gross electricity generation from hydropower in Germany amounted to 19.1 terawatt hours, up by over four percent from the previous year. In the period of consideration, figures decreased by nearly six terawatt hours, peaking at 24.9 terawatt hours in 2000. The country reached the lowest electricity generation in 2003 and 2011, with 17.7 terawatt hours produced at each year.
