This statistic represents the results of a survey among urban wine consumers across five centers in India in 2017 about the perception towards Indian-made wines. A majority of respondents, about 42 percent thought that consuming Indian wine made them feel classy and sophisticated, while 27 percent of urban wine drinkers thought Indian wines are expensive during the survey period.
