The monthly retail value of video games offered for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers declined between 2018 and 2020 before sharply increasing again in 2021. According to the findings, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers were offered a cumulative total of over 1,304 U.S. dollars' worth of free video games in 2022. The service offered a total of 37 free games for its subscribers in 2022.
