Financial savings renters expecting to buy 2015/16

This statistic displays the number of renters with and without savings or investments who are expecting/not expecting to buy in 2015/16 in England. What can be seen in the graph is that private renters are expecting to buy more than social renters whether they have savings or not. Overall, approximately 1.5 million private renter households with savings or investments are expecting to buy a home in the future as to just over 850 thousand social renter households with savings or investments with the same expectations.
