This statistic illustrates the distribution of business passenger cars in the Netherlands in 2018, by car brand. In the Netherlands, the majority of business passenger cars are leased due to government tax cuts. Statistics on corporate car lease and use of business cars therefore overlap for the Netherlands. As of August 2018, the brand with the largest market share for passenger car leasing is Volkswagen, at 14.4 percent. The source states, however, that the brand with the highest increase compared to the previous year is Tesla. Elon Musk's car brand saw an increase of 39.1 percent between 2017 and 2018, reaching a market share of 1.6 percent.
