Share of residents per housing type in Norway 2018

As of 2018, most Norwegian residents were living in detached houses, amounting to a share of roughly 56 percent. The share of Norwegians living in a house with two dwellings was 9.7 percent. Multi-dwelling buildings were the second most common dwelling type, with a share of 19 percent of Norwegians using them.
