Share of residents per housing type in Norway 2021
As of 2021, most Norwegian residents were living in detached houses, amounting to a share of roughly 55 percent. The share of Norwegians living in a house with two dwellings was 9.8 percent. Multi-dwelling buildings were the second most common dwelling type, with a share of about 20.1 percent of Norwegians using them.
