Number of cinema screens in the Netherlands 2021, by movie theater chain
In 2021, there were around 1.02 thousand cinema screens in the Netherlands, of which 248 (or 24 percent) belonged to the Pathé Bioscopen chain. Independent movie theaters collectively had 296 screens or 29 percent of the total. The number of movie tickets sold in the Netherlands declined by 15 percent in 2021.
