Box office revenue of domestic feature films in Spain 2000-2021
In 2021, feature films made in Spain grossed around 39.7 million euros at the Spanish box office, up 0.8 percent from the 39.4-million-euro revenue recorded a year earlier. Despite the slight increase, the 2021 figure amounts to only 43 percent of the box office gross reported in 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak. In 2021, 273 feature films were produced in Spain, the highest number in the current century.
