The Kinepolis Group currently operates cinemas in Europe and Canada and are active in a number of other areas, including film distribution and screen advertising alongside its cinema business. The profit of Kinepolis decreased in the first three years of the time frame considered, before increasing again in 2016. As of 2018, Kinepolis registered a profit of over 47 million euros.
