Non-book readers in the U.S. 2018-2019, by education

In 2019, 44 percent of respondents with a high school degree or less reported not having read a book in the last year, compared to 37 percent who said the same a year earlier. Survey respondents who were college graduates or had pursued further education beyond college were by far the least likely to say that they had not read a single book in the past 12 months.
