Non-book readers in the U.S. 2021, by education
In 2021, 39 percent of respondents with a high school degree or less reported not having read a book in the last year, compared to 17 percent who had some college education. Survey respondents who were college graduates or had pursued further education beyond college were the least likely to say that they had not read a single print book, e-book, or audiobook in the past 12 months.
