This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the news reading habits of Italian adults as of December 2018. According to the study, about seven in ten respondents preferred reading the news online because they were always up-to-date and available any time, although about 60 percent of readers thought that print newspapers covered news in more depth compared to their digital counterparts.
