Share of breast cancer cases detected during screening in Sweden 2009-2018

In 2018, 64.4 percent of the breast cancer cases in Sweden were detected during screening, which women between 40 and 74 years should do every or every second year. The share was slightly lower in 2018 than in the previous year, when 65.1 percent of all breast cancer tumors were detected through screening.
