Number of deaths caused by cancer in Sweden 2008-2018, by gender

The number of deaths caused by cancer among men in Sweden was higher than the number of deaths among women, for all years during the period from 2008 to 2018. For both men and women, the number of cancer deaths were generally decreasing over the period. In 2018 the death incidence from cancer was around 241 cases among men and around 221 cases among women per hundred thousand inhabitants.
