According to a survey conducted in South Korea in early 2021, around 20 percent of South Koreans aged between 18 and 25 years stated they were willing to pay for digital news. Willingness to pay was fairly low across all age groups, with the lowest being 55 years and older. On average, 14 percent of respondents were willing to pay for digital news.
