According to a survey conducted in South Korea in early 2022, around 17 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older stated that they used Facebook to access news. Respondents between 25 and 34 years used Facebook the least for news, with only nine percent doing so. Overall, 14 percent of South Koreans accessed news via Facebook in 2022.
