Brazil: electricity generation capacity share 2018, by type of plant

In 2018, the installed electricity generation capacity in Brazil amounted to nearly 163 gigawatts, out of which 64 percent were accounted for by hydropower (including large , small and micro plants). Wind power plants represented nearly nine percent of the installed capacity in the country that year.
