Brazil: electricity prices 2013-2018

In 2018, the end-user electricity consumption rate in Brazil averaged 475.2 Brazilian reals per megawatt-hour, an increase of nearly 13 percent in comparison to the previous year. In comparison to 2013, the average electricity price in the country has increased by almost 87 percent. The country's north region had the highest electricity rate that year.
