The net revenue of electricity company Enel Brasil S.A. has more than quintupled since 2016. In 2021, the Brazilian subsidiary of Italy-based Enel reported a net revenue of 51 billion Brazilian reals, an increase of roughly 40 percent in comparison to the previous year. The private company – which operates in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Ceará, Goiás, São Paulo, and Rio Grande do Sul – is one of the largest electricity companies in Brazil, based on revenue.
