Donald Trump recently said he would block US-based Mexicans from sending cash home in order to fund his controversial border wall, a move that could have serious economic repercussions for Mexico. backing it. 84 percent of Trump's supporters also firmly favor the border wall. Opposition is strong among Democrats with 83 percent of Clinton supporters and 1 percent of Sanders supporters opposing Trump’s concrete ambitions for the border.
