The statistic presents information on perceptions on employer usage of social media advertising to target only candidates who are U.S. citizens according to adults in the United States as of April 2019, by age group. The survey results show, that 42 percent of respondents aged 65 and older were of the belief that it was inappropriate for employers to use social media ads to target only candidates who were U.S. citizens, The same was true for 30 percent younger Millennials.
