Internal migration by federal district Russia 2021

The largest share of internal migration in Russia was observed in the Central, Volga, and Northwestern Federal Districts in 2021. In that year, nearly 917 thousand inhabitants migrated to the Central Federal District. The number of internal migrants grew especially high after 2011.
