Share of consumers choosing mobile apps for payments in the UK 2018-19 by age
Young millennials in the United Kingdom were the primary users of mobile app payments both in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, 41 percent of individuals switched to apps for payments. This share was measured at 32 percent in the previous year. Senior millennials between the ages 27 and 37 were another group of avid payment app users with 38 percent of them choosing a mobile app for payments.
