The number of visitors to the Uffizi Gallery in the Italian city of Florence bounced back in 2022, nearly recovering from the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. After dropping to under 600 thousand with the onset of the health crisis, attendance at the renowned tourist attraction exceeded two million in 2022.
