Japan: preferred genres of art and culture events to attend 2022

According to a survey conducted in Japan in February 2022, about 17.6 percent of all respondents stated that they appreciated non-animation movies in theaters within the last year. On the other hand, more than 60 percent of respondents have not attended any of the art or culture events during the measured period, attributable to the social distancing measures implemented in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
