According to a survey conducted in February 2020, close to 35 percent of respondents in Japan did not attend any art or culture events during the last year because they were just not interested. When combined with respondents who did not specify any reasons, approximately 56 percent of all respondents had simply no interest in appreciating art and culture on site.
