This statistic shows the ranking of the 15 most visited national museums and galleries in France in 2017. It displays that the Louvre was the most visited museum in France that year, with more than eight million entries. It was followed by the Palace of Versailles and the Centre Georges Pompidou. The museums Louvre-Lens, Pompidou-Metz and Mucem in Marseille were the three only museums not located in the Ile-de-France region in this ranking.
