Japan: preferred genres of creative activities 2022

According to a survey conducted in Japan in January 2023, about 3.1 percent of respondents in Japan participated in regional traditional entertainment performances or festivals. About 87 percent of respondents, on the other hand, did not participate in any artistic or cultural activities during the past 12 months.
