Nearly half of surveyed Americans who planned to shop in-store on Black Friday in 2020 expected to hit the stores between seven and ten in the morning. About a third of consumers in the United States were planning to go earlier, while the remainder was not sure when to go. Some of the main reasons Americans shop in-store on the Friday after Thanksgiving include taking advantage of the best possible deals and enjoying some shopping time with family and friends.
