Most popular cosmetic brands in Poland 2019

The most popular cosmetics brand in Poland in 2019 was Nivea, chosen by 41.2 percent of consumers. Other popular brands were Ziaja (18 percent), Adidas (15.1 percent), and Avon (13.7 percent). 

Cosmetics products

In 2018, the most popular and used body care products were shower gel and antiperspirant, used by almost 20 percent of Poles surveyed every day. On the other hand, shops offer many cosmetics usually intended for women, which Poles do not use and do not intend to use. The most commonly indicated in 2018 were bath bombs and slimming/ anticellulite balms. Nowadays, Internet groups on social media platforms concerning body and hair care are becoming more popular. In 2018, almost half of the topics discussed on social media by internet users focused on cleansing, and nearly 40 percent of the issue concerned facial skin care. 

Cosmetics stores

  In Poland in 2018, almost half of Poles indicated drugstores and cosmetics stores as the best place to buy cosmetics. Discounts were also popular among Poles. The most popular online stores in 2019 were the e-store of online-only cosmetics and e-store of brick-and-mortar chains, e.g., Rossmann, Sephora. Currently, the most popular stationary and online store is Rossmann. In 2018, almost six million customers used the application or the store's website. The second favorite retailer among Poles in 2020 was Biedronka, where nearly half of customers bought cosmetics there.
