Share of French people who know about B.Griveaux's sex tape in France 2020, by age
When French people were interviewed about the notoriety of the Parisian mayoral candidate Benjamin Griveaux's sex tape that was leaked on the Internet in February 2020, most of them had heard of the video but did not see it.
Of them, the people aged 65 and older were the strongest respondents with 84 percent. The ones who had seen the video the most were aged between 25 and 34. Most of the French who did not see the video, nor did they know about it, were to 42 and 43 percent between the ages of 18 to 34.
Following the scandal, the survey had asked the French part of the population who had themselves exchanged private content of sexual nature, if they feared that it would get unwillingly shared at some point: the same amount of men and women (32 and 33 percent) reported not really being scared of such a thing happening to them.
