Cumulative number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Europe 2020

On January 25, 2020 the first cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Europe were confirmed in France, there has now been 497,366 confirmed cases in Europe as of April 2, 2020. The number of cases in Europe has increased considerably since the end of February, and April 1 saw the highest number of new cases in Europe in a single day with over 41.1 thousand new cases. Italy has the highest amount of confirmed cases in Europe with 110,574, followed by Spain with 102,136 cases. A full country breakdown of cases in Europe can be found here.
