Opinions on cancelling major sports events during Covid19 UK 2020, by social grade

During a representative survey of the British adult population, undertaken between the 16th and 17th March 2020, respondents were asked their opinion on how major sporting events should be handled and scheduled during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Although the majority share of respondents from both social grade groups held the opinion that all major sporting events should be cancelled, as at the time of surveying, 25 percent and 22 percent of ABC1 and C2DE respondents respectively, held the opinion that all major sports events should be held as scheduled, with spectators present.
