Traffic on Pornhub in France after Covid-19 outbreak between March and June 2020

After the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the beginning of the confinement period in France in March and May 2020, many pornographic websites made their content free of access. Pornhub.fr being one of them, reported a traffic increase of almost four percent on the first of March, as compared to an average day. On the fifth of March, a traffic increase of about almost four and a half percent could be observed, compared to an average day. The peak was observed on the 17th of March 2020 with almost 40 percent more traffic than usual. In April and July 2020, the traffic rarely decreased below 10 percent.
