Coronavirus impact on the CAC 40 index in France 2020

As coronavirus is spreading in Europe and in the world, its impact on Paris stock exchange and notably on the CAC 40 index keep increasing. Between January 24 2020, when the first case was declared in France and March 30 of the same year, the CAC 40 index has experienced a decrease of 1,645.75 points. As of March 30 2020, the CAC 40 index amounted to 4,378.51 points, that is to say 27.02 points more than the day before. The biggest drop in the history of the Paris stock exchange was recorded on March 12 2020.
