Non-perishable food sales volume during COVID-19 outbreak in Moscow 2020, by type

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) panic shopping, non-perishable foods were among the top-selling categories in Moscow, Russia. Of them, pasta was the most demanded, followed by rice. In the capital, the average sales of pasta per retail store nearly doubled during the week from March 9 to March 15 relative to the sales volume on a usual week.
