According to a survey conducted in China in late 2019 among mothers in their 20s, nearly 38 percent of respondents said that they spent up to 1,000 yuan per month on pregnancy and maternity related products. On average, the surveyed young mothers were spending 2,935 yuan monthly on motherhood-related items.
