Market shares of mass media in Finland 2008-2018, by sector

As of 2018, the market share of publishing industry continued to decline in Finland, making up 51 percent of the mass media market. Meanwhile, the market share of electronic media (television, radio, and online advertising) grew significantly over the period from 2008 to 2018, from 28 percent to 44 percent. Recorded media had a market share of five percent in 2018, especially due to the declining sales of the physical video recording market.
