Finland: market shares of mass media by sector

As of 2019, the market share of publishing industry continued to decline in Finland, making up 48 percent of the mass media market. Meanwhile, the market share of electronic media (television, radio, and online advertising) grew significantly over the past decade, from 30 percent in 2009 to 47 percent in 2019. Recorded media had a market share of six percent in 2019, especially due to the declining sales of the physical video recording market.
